Whether your choice is a quiet winter walk and playful examination of our variety of snowflakes or skating at the College rink or the Highland Park “pond,” Geneseo is your place. A short drive will open up an even larger winter world of snow-boarding, cross-country or downhill skiing, tubing or the fast-growing avocation of snow-shoeing. |

| Wilson Ice Arena, Merritt Athletic Center, SUNY. (MAP) Recreational Ice Skating: Monday-Thursday 12:30 pm - 1:50 pm; Saturday 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm except on game nights; Sunday 6:30 pm - 7:50 pm.  Genesee Valley Greenway. The Genesee Valley Greenway follows the path of the abandoned Genesee Valley Canal and Pennsylvania Railroad.. The many trail heads offer trails of varying distances. The closest trail entrance to Geneseo is in Piffard on Route 63 near the Yard of Ale restaurant. The trail surface provides a firm, level surface for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. Call: 585-658-2569 |
